Mike Ibal Ahmad is a third-generation developer, following in the footsteps of his father, who created landmark building in Pakistan. Ahmad has worked in the United States in early 80s, beginning at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. There, he did buildings up to modern standards.
Following his work at West point, Ahmad began doing federally, publicly and stated funded infrastructure renovation. He was eventually drawn to Caribbean when he learned that Georgetown, Guyana was attempting to host the Cricket World Cup. but had no true modern hotels. Ahmad Secured an appropriate area and began development of a five-star Marriott hotel and casino; the country's first branded hotel. Additionally worked with Government of Guyana to facilitate design built and relocate the George Town City main forced sewer lines.
